SVG Sports Graphics Forum 2022

SVG Sports Graphics Forum 2022

For the first time in more than two years, the SVG Sports Graphics Forum was back in person with a full-day event on May 24 at the Helen Mills Theater in NYC. Over the past two years, the sports-graphics sector has undergone a dramatic revolution, and the 2022 SVG Sports Graphics Forum brought creative and technological leaders together to discuss the latest developments in the industry.

This event's program was spearheaded by the SVG Sports Graphics Advisory Committee and its new Chair, ESPN Creative Director Tim O’Shaughnessy. In addition to in-depth presentations on the latest visionary graphics packages, the agenda featured sessions focused on new remote workflows, AR/VR graphics, and the latest in graphics technology and design philosophies.

In a first, this year’s Forum also featured an SVG Sports Graphics ‘Extra’ virtual event via Zoom on June 1, featuring behind-the-scenes looks at how recent graphics packages were created and a look into the future of the industry from VR to NFTs to the Metaverse.
